New Consul General of Kazakhstan in Busan Visits Ulsan City
Discussion on Exchange and Cooperation Measures between Ulsan City and Kazakhstan
Ulsan City announced that Aslan M. Askar, Consul General of Kazakhstan in Busan, is scheduled to pay a goodwill visit to Ulsan City at 3 p.m. on the 19th.
Kim Doo-gyeom, Mayor of Ulsan, will receive Consul General Aslan M. Askar on the day and discuss the relationship between Korea and Kazakhstan as well as exchange and cooperation plans between local governments.
Consul General Aslan M. Askar joined the Kazakhstan Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2009 and has worked at central government agencies and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Korea. He was appointed Consul General of Kazakhstan in Busan in August this year.
Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom of Ulsan said, “We expect that Ulsan City and Kazakhstan will cooperate in various fields on the occasion of the Consul General’s visit to Ulsan,” and added, “We ask for the Consul General’s support to strengthen Korea-Kazakhstan cooperation and regional development.”
