View original imageAccording to Jeongeup City, through this agreement, the city plans to continue various online promotional activities using the Post Office Shopping platform in collaboration with Jeongeup Post Office.
Since 2022, the city has supported cooperative budgets for online promotions such as special events to promote the consumption of domestic rice, steadily achieving results in the sales of agricultural specialties. Sales reached 2 billion KRW in 2022, 3 billion KRW last year, and as of the end of October this year, sales have recorded 2.4 billion KRW.
In the Jeongeup City brand section within Post Office Shopping, regular discount coupons (10-40% off) and special sales events are operated, and Jeongeup agricultural specialties are actively promoted on external sales channels such as Gmarket and 11st.
Additionally, various activities are being carried out to expand consumer contact points through real-time sales via Naver live broadcasts. The number of participating vendors has increased by 10% from last year to 138, and recruitment is ongoing.
Jeong Young-han, Post Office Director, stated, "We will continue to strive to open sales channels for Jeongeup agricultural specialties and revitalize the local economy," adding, "We will strengthen the public role of the post office and contribute to the local community."
