The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Chang-su) is supporting various programs to help local elementary, middle, and high school students, including high school seniors who have completed the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), develop their career competencies during the year-end self-development period.
First, in accordance with the year-end school curriculum operation plan following the CSAT, the office plans to assist in the thorough management of academic operations, curriculum implementation, support programs for curriculum operation by field, and the discovery and dissemination of best practices to ensure a solid operation during the year-end self-development period.
The Ulsan Office of Education has introduced support programs for curriculum operation by field to promote various student-centered educational activities by school level and grade, including safety, health, and psychology; finance, management, and culture; disability awareness and digital literacy; law, elections, and human rights; unification, veterans affairs, Dokdo, and online lectures; science, environment, and sustainable development; self-development and career experience activities; and university-linked exploration programs.
In particular, for high school seniors after the CSAT, the office plans to provide online and offline programs such as youth financial fraud prevention and financial life education, law, election, and human rights education, and university-linked major experience programs to support the cultivation of self-directed career competencies and the solidification of academic management.
The Ulsan Office of Education established the “Year-End Academic Operation Support Plan” containing these details and notified all schools on the 11th.
