Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Ranks '1st' Among 23 Public Institutions Practicing Eco-Friendly Initiatives
The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation has been recognized as the best performer in implementing eco-friendly initiatives among public institutions in the province.
On the 16th, the foundation announced that it received a commendation from the governor on the 15th for ranking first among public institutions in Gyeonggi-do in the province’s eco-friendly project, the ‘Tantan-dae-ro Campaign.’
The Tantan-dae-ro Campaign involves completing a total of nine eco-friendly tasks, including ▲using reusable cups ▲using handkerchiefs instead of tissue paper ▲sharing unused items ▲not leaving food waste ▲using shopping bags and eco-bags, and verifying these actions through an application. A total of 23 institutions in the province participated.

View original imageThe Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation achieved first place among all institutions, resulting in a total carbon reduction of 646,509 grams. This is equivalent to planting 98 pine trees aged about 30 years. Through this activity, the foundation has established itself as a leading institution in eco-friendly practices.
In addition, to celebrate its anniversary this year, the foundation also carried out various environmental protection activities such as cleaning local rivers and holding special lectures on proper waste separation.
In particular, by collaborating with participating companies, the foundation posts content introducing eco-friendly companies on social media, practicing ESG management together with stakeholders.
