[2025 CSAT] 10% Absence Rate in 1st Session... 466,287 Candidates Took the Exam
Similar to last year's absentee rate of 10.6%
The absentee rate for the first session of the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test held on the 14th was in the 10% range, similar to last year.
The Ministry of Education and the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation announced that out of 518,497 applicants for the first session Korean language section, 52,210 were absent. The absentee rate was 10.07%, similar to last year's 10.6%.

By region, Chungnam had the highest absentee rate at 13.24%. Incheon (13.10%), Chungbuk (11.87%), and Gangwon (11.68%) followed.

The region with the lowest absentee rate was Busan (7.29%), followed by Gwangju (7.61%), Daegu (7.79%), and Ulsan (7.97%).
