In this special lecture, Chris Dobrzhansky, Chairman of the Community Forward Foundation, will serve as the instructor and deliver a lecture on the theme of ‘Social Solidarity Finance and Community Assetization.’
Chris Dobrzhansky is a global social finance expert who has contributed to the assetization and financial support model development for local communities and social enterprises, and played a key role in the success of Canada’s Vancity Credit Union. The Community Forward Foundation is a well-known nonprofit organization dedicated to community-based economic development and building sustainable financial models.
This special lecture will provide an opportunity to find new alternatives for the future of village communities by sharing community-based sustainable financial models and assetization strategies based on Canadian cases. It is expected to be greatly helpful to citizens active in local-based groups such as village communities, social economy, and residents’ autonomy councils, and to expand considerations on realizing social value and community solidarity.
This special lecture can be applied for individually, separate from the Sustainability School completion, and simultaneous interpretation services will be provided for participants.
