'The Theme of Cultural Diversity and Intercultural Competence'
The Gyeonggi-do Pyeongtaek International Exchange Foundation will hold a special global lecture by Professor Jang Han-up from Ewha Womans University on the 26th at the Pyeongtaek City Baedari Library.
Professor Jang researches educational challenges in Korea's multicultural society and strives to introduce European intercultural education to Korea. His publications include The Language of Discrimination, Intercultural Education (Educational Alternatives for Korea's Multicultural Society), and What Should We Teach Children in Multicultural Korea?
In this special lecture, Professor Jang will present the realities demanded by a multicultural society and propose alternatives for the future society in a multicultural environment under the theme "Cultural Diversity and Intercultural Competence."
