Goyang Branch Office of Education Holds Cheer Event with Korea Aerospace University
Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 13th that it held a support event on the 11th to attract Goyang Aerospace Science High School.

View original imageThis event was organized to cheer for the attraction of Goyang Aerospace Science High School, following the submission of an application for the Gyeonggi-type science high school attraction contest on the 8th, bringing together Goyang city officials, the Goyang Office of Education, and Korea Aerospace University.
The event was attended by Heo Hee-young, President of Korea Aerospace University, and Ko Hyo-soon, Superintendent of the Goyang Office of Education, who held a banner reading “Goyang Aerospace Science High School Opening the Future” and delivered messages of support for the establishment of Goyang Aerospace Science High School.
Heo Hee-young, President of Korea Aerospace University, said, “Goyang Aerospace Science High School will be a specialized educational institution nurturing creative and challenging talents who will lead the future of the aerospace industry,” adding, “Korea Aerospace University will assist students in growing into global leaders in the aerospace industry through cooperation with Goyang City.”
Ko Hyo-soon, Superintendent of the Goyang Office of Education, emphasized, “Goyang Aerospace Science High School will not simply be a place to study scientific subjects, but a school providing specialized curricula linked to Goyang City’s advanced industries,” and added, “The Goyang Office of Education will design an educational curriculum reflecting the latest trends and future technologies in the aerospace industry to provide students with an optimal learning environment where they can gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical and field experience.”
