Gyeongbuk's Future Growth Engine... Gyeongbuk TP Fully Commits to 'Gyeongbuk Youth CEO Development'
Promoting Growth of Young Entrepreneurs Aged 1 to 3 Years in the Province
The ‘Gyeongbuk Young CEO Intensive and Development Support Project,’ promoted by Gyeongbuk Province and Gyeongbuk Technopark, has established itself as a representative local young entrepreneur development program that has continued for 14 years.
The ‘Gyeongbuk Young CEO Intensive and Development Support Project’ aims to discover promising startup companies within Gyeongbuk Province and contribute to improving the startup success rate of young CEOs and job creation through systematic support.
This project provides an optimal young startup program for young CEOs aged 39 or younger with businesses located in Gyeongbuk Province, offering one year of startup activity expenses, startup education, technology and management consulting, on-site counseling, and networking.
The support targets are divided into intensive and general courses. The intensive course is for young CEOs who have completed the ‘City/County Preliminary Young Entrepreneur Development Project’ within Gyeongbuk Province.
Gyeongbuk Technopark has been nurturing a total of 115 young CEOs over the past three years, with 40 in 2022, 45 in 2023, and 30 in 2024. All these companies were finally selected through a strict process involving document and presentation evaluations.
Kim Young-min, Director of the Gyeongbuk Young Startup Support Center, said, “While it is important to achieve results such as sales and employment after supporting young CEOs’ startups, we will do our best to support them so that they can settle in the Gyeongbuk region and continue their business activities.”
