Uiryeong-gun Provides 18 Programs for 'Hope Sharing Integrated Care Project'
Selected for Gyeongnam Province Public Contest Project ... Pilot Project and Implementation
Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 12th that the "Hope Sharing Integrated Care Project," which is being implemented as a pilot project by Gyeongnam Province, has entered its main phase.
Selected as a Gyeongnam Province public project in March last year, this project promoted by the county provides integrated care programs such as housing, healthcare, nursing care, and daily living support for single-person households and vulnerable households in blind spots who need care, including the elderly and disabled.
Uiryeong-gun has established and operates the Burim-myeon Administrative Welfare Center Care Center and the Dongbu Social Welfare Center Care Village Center.
Uiryeong-gun groups Burim-myeon and the nearby Nakseo-myeon, Bongsu-myeon, and Gungnyu-myeon into a regional cluster to implement 18 projects targeting vulnerable groups such as the elderly and disabled in these four myeons, including housing environment improvement, nutrition management for chronic disease patients, support for health drinks, dementia prevention brain smart kits, and safe accompaniment services at local hospitals.
In particular, the "Youth Playground," which operates brain cognitive activities, art classes, and music and rhythm sessions for seniors, and the "Home Visit Medication Guidance" in cooperation with the Pharmaceutical Association are highly popular and have been selected as exemplary cases of the "Uiryeong-type" integrated care model.
