Comfort Event Held for Local Seniors
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam recently held the "Late Autumn Concert with the Elderly" at Masan Station Square, organized by the Changwon branch of the Gyeongnam Safety Culture Citizens' Coalition.
The concert held on the 9th welcomed 1,000 local elderly residents, providing lunch and beauty services, followed by various performances including ▲ impromptu singing contests ▲ dance ▲ band ▲ Pumba performances, inviting local singers to invigorate the lives of the elderly. Additionally, snack packages containing bread, milk, ramen, and candy were prepared, bringing great joy to the attending seniors.
Jo Myeong-rae, the 2nd Deputy Mayor, stated, “Thanks to the unwavering activities of the Changwon branch of the Gyeongnam Safety Culture Citizens' Coalition, the warmth of sharing is delivered to our local community, allowing our precious neighbors to spend a warm winter.” He added, “The city will also work harder to make the lives of the elderly more abundant.”

Meanwhile, the Changwon branch of the Gyeongnam Safety Culture Citizens' Coalition was established in 2009 and has been continuously volunteering for 16 years, providing beauty services, free meals, bathing, and other assistance to the elderly and neighbors in need within the community.
