SK Shielders Introduces Access Security Technology to Commuter Bus Platform
Helping Commute with Access Security Technology
On the 11th, SK Shieldus announced that it will work with smart mobility company Wizdom to improve the commuting environment for workers using shuttle buses. SK Shieldus will introduce access control technology specialized for national institutions and advanced technology companies to shuttle buses. This expands the technology, previously used only within the physical spaces of companies, to the mobility sector.

The existing RF method involves directly tagging a card on the bus terminal, which has some security vulnerabilities. In contrast, the SAM method encrypts information, providing advantages such as preventing hacking and tampering.
SK Shieldus integrates data collected from shuttle bus terminals and the Global Positioning System (GPS) with the Wizdom platform to provide real-time information on the number of passengers, bus location, and estimated arrival times.
