The 15 works being released include representative pieces by Park Seo-bo such as Myobeop No.34-79 (created in 1979), Myobeop No.900719 (1990), and Myobeop No.081105 (2008).
Park Seo-bo was a pioneer of Dansaekhwa, leading the Korean contemporary art scene. Unlike Western art, which visualizes the artist's thoughts on canvas, he embodied Dansaekhwa, an art form that empties the self, dedicating his life to creating Myobeop works. His pieces are held in prestigious museums worldwide, including the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Leeum Museum of Art, Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Earlier, in July last year, Samsung Electronics showcased Park Seo-bo’s representative works on a 146-inch 4K screen through the Micro LED display 'The Wall All-in-One' at an exhibition in the Rockefeller Center, USA.
