Pocheon-si Successfully Hosts 'Regional Children's Center Joint Presentation'
The Pocheon City Association of Community Child Centers in Gyeonggi Province (President Kim Young-hyo) announced on the 8th that it held the ‘2024 Pocheon City Community Child Center Joint Presentation’ at the Pocheon Business Center on the 7th.

View original imageUnder the theme ‘Delivering the Scent of Love,’ the event was attended by about 500 people, including children, teachers, parents, and related organization officials from 11 community child centers in the area.
The presentation began with an opening ceremony and an award ceremony recognizing three outstanding workers and eleven exemplary children. This was followed by performances showcasing the talents the children have honed at the community child centers, including Nanta drumming, broadcast dance, janggu drumming, and kalimba playing.
Baek Young-hyun, Mayor of Pocheon, said, “We will strive even harder to improve the quality of care services so that all children in the area can nurture bigger dreams in a warm and caring environment.”

Meanwhile, Pocheon City currently supports the healthy growth of children by providing comprehensive welfare services such as protection, education, and recreation to children in need of after-school care through 11 community child centers.
