Kim Hyun-woo Reappointed as CEO of Seoul Business Agency "Fostering Promising Industries in Seoul"
Kim Hyun-woo, CEO of the Seoul Business Agency (SBA), has completed his three-year term and will lead the agency for one more year.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Business Agency announced on the 7th that they have decided to extend Kim's term until November 1 next year. Kim was appointed in November 2021.
Kim previously served as CEO of Korea Long-Term Credit Bank, HSBC, Boston Venture Capital, and Asia Economy TV.
With this reappointment, the agency expects that various policies leading innovation in Seoul’s corporate and business ecosystem will continue to be actively pursued through 2025.
The agency is a Seoul Metropolitan Government-affiliated institution that supports small and medium-sized enterprises and startups.

Kim stated, "We will focus on nurturing promising industries that will lead Seoul’s future and expand the innovation ecosystem," adding, "We will continue to play a pivotal role in enhancing Seoul’s urban competitiveness and revitalizing the economy."
