On-site, a total of six blood donation vehicles were deployed (three at Guri City Hall, two at Guri City Gymnasium, and one at Guri Agricultural and Marine Products Wholesale Market), and 274 participants, including Guri city officials, voluntarily took part in saving precious lives.
About 30 members of the Guri District Council of the Korean Red Cross Volunteer Society (acting president Kim Bok-jo) assisted blood donors in filling out medical questionnaires while waiting, carried promotional placards, and led chants to encourage participation.
Kim Bok-jo, acting president of the Guri District Council of the Korean Red Cross Volunteer Society, said, “We thank the citizens of Guri and public officials who actively participated in blood donation despite their busy schedules. We will continue to promote the importance of blood donation and strive to practice sharing life and loving neighbors.”
