Hapcheon-gun to Conduct 2024 Household and Housing Basic Survey
Basic Information Survey of a Total of 25,048 Households
Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will conduct the 2024 Household and Housing Basic Survey for 20 days from the 8th to the 27th.
Conducted under the supervision of Statistics Korea, this survey serves as a preliminary investigation to enhance the accuracy of the 2025 Population and Housing Census and the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Census. It covers a total of 14 items (8 at the dwelling unit level and 6 at the household level) for all residences (including vacant houses) and households, except for some apartments.
Hapcheon-gun will carry out on-site verification and some face-to-face interviews targeting 25,048 households, and plans to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the survey through tablet electronic surveys and call center telephone surveys.
To ensure smooth surveying, the county selected a total of 27 survey personnel in September and conducted preliminary training in October. Since the 4th, a situation room has been operating within the county office, completing preparations for a successful survey.
