Geumcheon-gu, "Becoming a Page for Youth"... 1st Anniversary Event of Geumcheon Youth Culture House Opening
Held on November 9 at 2 PM at Geumcheon Youth Culture House
Various Experience Centers for Youth to Enjoy
Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that it will hold the 1st anniversary event of the Geumcheon Youth Culture House titled “To Become a Page” at 2 p.m. on November 9th at the Geumcheon Youth Culture House.
The Geumcheon Youth Culture House opened in Siheung-dong in November 2023 and has been operating various programs for youth and the local community. To celebrate its 1st anniversary this year, a commemorative event has been prepared for youth and local residents.
Various programs for youth are prepared for this event. Experience zones prepared by youth autonomous clubs belonging to the Geumcheon Youth Culture House, such as “Escape Room Game,” “Magic Paper (Shrinkles) Craft Experience,” and “Photo Keychain Making,” will be operated on the 3rd floor.
Programs where participants can experience major projects of the Geumcheon Youth Culture House, such as the Startup Support Center’s “Flower Garden (Terrarium) Making,” Geumcheon Bakery’s “Make Your Own Croffle,” and Geumcheon Physical20’s “Indoor Sports Challenge,” will be held on the 4th floor.
On the main stage, an award ceremony for outstanding youth and performances by youth clubs will take place. In addition, generous prizes will be provided through a raffle for participating youth on site.
Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, “I sincerely congratulate the 1st anniversary of the Geumcheon Youth Culture House, and I hope this event becomes a memorable page of happy memories for the youth,” adding, “We will continue to support the provision of diverse and beneficial activity programs for the youth of Geumcheon-gu.”
