Overseas Business Delegates Invited to Bitgreen Industrial Complex Tour

View original imageThe Gwangju Free Economic Zone Authority (hereinafter Gwangju FEZA) is participating in the ‘Invest Korea Summit 2024,’ held over three days until the 8th at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul, to promote Gwangju's future mobility industry and engage in investment attraction activities.
Organized by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), the ‘Invest Korea Summit 2024’ is an annual foreign investment promotion event attended by about 1,000 participants including overseas investors, leading companies (anchor companies), and foreign diplomats stationed in Korea.
This year, various investment attraction contents are being held, including future strategic industry exhibitions such as future cars, bio, secondary batteries, and semiconductors, as well as investment consultations and new technology seminars.
Gwangju FEZA operates a future mobility promotional exhibition hall and undertakes various investment attraction activities such as corporate networking and on-site inspections of the Bitgreen Industrial Complex. At the Gwangju promotional exhibition hall, the new economic vision of the Future Car National Complex, the specialized materials and parts complex, and various mobility support facilities in Gwangju are introduced, along with promotions of Kia Motors, Gwangju Global Motors, and local automotive parts companies.
Gwangju FEZA plans to directly invite overseas businesspeople to the Bitgreen National Industrial Complex for an on-site investment environment inspection tour. The on-site tour will include Canadian automotive parts companies, Swedish global investment consulting firms, as well as foreign journalists from the U.S., Japan, and China. Afterwards, participants will visit the Gwangju Biennale to experience the charm and flavors of Gwangju.

On the 6th, Seon Seok-gi, head of Gwangju FEZA, stated, “We will take this opportunity to inform overseas businesspeople about the local investment environment and the vision and strategy for future cars through on-site visits to the Gwangju Free Economic Zone.” He emphasized, “We will continue to cooperate in various fields with promising overseas companies and do our best to strengthen Gwangju’s position as a domestic investment destination.”
