View original imageThe Export-Import Bank of Korea has been selected as a member of the Korean Red Cross's 'Red Cross Honors Company 3 Billion Club' after sponsoring 3.05 billion KRW from 2001 to this year.
On the morning of the 5th, President Yoon Hee-sung attended the 'Red Cross Honors Company 3 Billion Club Membership Ceremony' held at the Korean Red Cross headquarters in Jung-gu, where he discussed cooperation between the two organizations with Kim Cheol-soo, Chairman of the Korean Red Cross. This year, the bank donated a total of 490 million KRW through the Korean Red Cross, with the funds used to support medical aid and purchase daily necessities for vulnerable groups.
President Yoon said, "It is very meaningful to be selected as a Red Cross Honors Company through consistent sharing with marginalized groups," adding, "We will continue to cooperate with the Korean Red Cross and become a leading company that promotes a culture of sharing."

Meanwhile, the bank plans to lead ESG management through ongoing employee volunteer activities such as customer-linked kimchi-making volunteer work and making bread for vulnerable groups.
