Silla University Department of Air Traffic Management Hosts 'Startup Incubator Camp' for Aviation College Students
Department of Air Traffic Management at Silla University (President Heo Nam-sik) conducted a customized youth startup incubator camp for students of the College of Aviation.

View original imageFrom October 30 to 31, the camp invited Son Jeong-woo, CEO of Team Sky, to hold a youth startup incubator camp titled "Aviation? Innovation! Startup Master Class (feat. Aviation Industry)" for students of Silla University's College of Aviation.
This camp consisted of various programs designed to broaden students' perspectives on employment, including ▲ experiences overcoming downturns such as COVID-19 and DDoS attacks ▲ successful startup cases in the aviation field.
Park Su-bin, a student in the Department of Air Traffic Management who participated in the camp, said, “It was a valuable time where I could learn in detail about startups, which previously felt overwhelming and uncertain, through practical and relatable education.” Yu Ji-ho added, “I had only considered employment at an airline as a flight operations officer after graduation, but I realized there are various startup ideas related to aviation, and it was a meaningful camp that made me aware of the diverse paths I can take.”

Lee Doo-hyung, head of the Department of Air Traffic Management at Silla University, which organized the camp, stated, “Pilots, aircraft maintenance engineers, air traffic controllers, flight operations officers, and cabin crew are specialized professions in the aviation industry, so it is rare for young people graduating from the College of Aviation to challenge themselves with startups.” He added, “We wholeheartedly praise the courage of CEO Son Jeong-woo, who challenged himself to start a business immediately after graduation, and his pioneering efforts to find a path to success.” He also expressed deep gratitude, saying, “We sincerely thank the respected young CEO Son Jeong-woo, who led the startup incubator camp while staying overnight in Busan despite his busy schedule as the head of a company.”
