DB HiTek Reports Q3 Operating Profit of 49.2 Billion KRW with 17% Profit Margin
Sales of 289.4 Billion KRW... 8% Increase Compared to Previous Year
DB HiTek announced its preliminary results for the third quarter of this year on the 5th, reporting consolidated sales of 289.4 billion KRW and an operating profit of 49.2 billion KRW. Sales increased by 8% compared to the previous year, but operating profit decreased by 2%. The operating profit margin was recorded at 17%.
The company explained the results by stating, "Sales of our main product, power semiconductors, increased, and sales in application sectors such as automotive, industrial, and medical devices also grew." However, "operating profit slightly declined due to depreciation expenses from investments and rising electricity costs."

Last month, the company announced a 250 billion KRW investment to expand its cleanroom, enabling an increase of 35,000 8-inch wafers. This is a proactive preparation for the semiconductor market recovery period, aimed at promptly responding to demand recovery and quickly entering new business areas such as silicon carbide (SiC) next-generation power semiconductors.
