WONUNIVERSE Launches Early Access for VTuber Character Creation Tool 'Meta Soulmate'
Won Universe announced on the 4th that it has released its self-developed VTuber character creation tool, Meta Soulmate (MSM), on Steam Early Access.
MSM is a creative tool that supports users in creating various VTuber characters themselves, applying the latest technology based on Unreal Engine 5 (UE5). Users can easily create their own unique VTuber characters through various customizing options such as face, hair, clothing, and accessories. MSM received favorable reviews at the Steam Next Fest last February, with over 60,000 users adding it to their wish lists.
On the 25th of last month, Won Universe unveiled the Meta Soulmate wiki page, introducing the key features unique to Meta Soulmate, detailed functions by category, and the update roadmap. On this page, users can find the latest news about Meta Soulmate by clicking on the official Discord and social media (SNS) banners.
Additionally, a new video was released to commemorate the launch. This new video showcases Meta Soulmate gameplay, introducing the character selection screen featuring ZENNAH, JIO, BIBI, and key customizing options. After selecting a VTuber character, users can directly customize the face, appearance, hair, and dress the character to use for VTuber streaming.
Won Universe’s PD Jin Jaehyuk said, “Meta Soulmate, targeting the rapidly emerging VTuber market, has been successfully launched on Early Access. With various customizing options, high freedom, detailed adjustment functions, and reasonable pricing, it will quickly capture the VTuber market and lead the trend.”

Meanwhile, Meta Soulmate plans to conduct regular quarterly updates following this Early Access release. By next year, accessory parts such as face decorations, necklaces, and earrings will be expanded, and new clothing and characters will be added. Furthermore, features such as advanced face tracking, broadcasting platform app programming interface (API) connectivity, and multiplayer functionality will be added, with an official release planned for the second half of 2026.
