Seoul Jung-gu Appoints 30 Dongguk University Students as Supporters for Clothing Fashion Support Center

View original imageJung-gu, Seoul appointed 30 Dongguk University students as the ‘Jung-gu Clothing Fashion Support Center University Student Supporters’ on the 1st to help revitalize the fashion industry in Jung-gu.
The ‘University Student Supporters’ are responsible for assisting navigators who connect new clothing manufacturing jobs in Jung-gu. They will also conduct on-site interviews in the fashion industry to publish a library containing information on 300 fashion manufacturing companies.
At the appointment ceremony, representatives from the Seoul Jung-gu Fashion Industry Association, Seoul Dada Fashion Clothing Cooperative, Oreum Cooperative, Seoul Jung-gu Dream Sewing Council Cooperative, SPH Seoul Jung-gu Fashion Academy Cooperative, and Seoul Jung-gu Fashion Clothing Cooperative, who have signed agreements with Jung-gu through the fashion manufacturing job connection platform navigator project, attended.
Kim Seung-jun, a Dongguk University student appointed as a supporter that day, said, “I have always been very interested in fashion,” adding, “I look forward to my activities as a fashion industry supporter, and I believe it will also help me in my future job search.”

A district official stated, “We hope the university student supporters’ activities will help revitalize the Jung-gu fashion industry and provide participating students with valuable opportunities to experience the industry firsthand,” adding, “We will continue to communicate closely with local clothing manufacturers and related organizations to provide practical support.”
