Confessed After Failed Joint Suicide Attempt with Mother
The police have requested an arrest warrant for a man in his 30s accused of killing his father with a blunt weapon.
On the 1st, the Seoul Western Police Station announced that they had applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A, who is suspected of killing a direct ascendant.
Mr. A is accused of killing his 70-year-old father with a blunt weapon at their home in Yeokchon-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, on the 27th of last month after the father insulted his mother, demanding money for alcohol.
Afterwards, on the afternoon of the 31st of last month, Mr. A attempted joint suicide with his mother using briquettes but failed and subsequently surrendered to the police.
