North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov have begun talks in Moscow, Russia, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova announced.
On the 1st (local time), spokesperson Zakharova stated via Telegram, "Today, the foreign ministers of Russia and North Korea are holding talks in Moscow."
She added, "Minister Lavrov greeted his counterpart (Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui) by presenting a bouquet of flowers."
Spokesperson Zakharova explained, "The talks began at the Yaroslavsky railway station, where a commemorative plaque honoring Kim Il-sung's 1949 visit to the Soviet Union was unveiled," and "the discussions will continue at the Foreign Ministry residence."
