Pocheon City Renovates Pocheoncheon Riverside Parking Lot... Expected to Alleviate Residents' Inconvenience
The paving improvement of Pocheoncheon Riverside Parking Lot (from Pocheon Bridge to Hannae Bridge) has been completed, and a total of 120 free parking spaces are now open.
Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 1st that it has completed pavement improvements at the Pocheoncheon Riverside Parking Lot (from Pocheon Bridge to Hannae Bridge) after about two weeks of construction last month, and opened a total of 120 free parking spaces.
The Pocheoncheon Riverside Parking Lot is an area prone to frequent flooding due to heavy summer rains, where the grass block infill soil had subsided, causing continuous pedestrian inconvenience and uneven pavement issues.
Accordingly, the city invested approximately 390 million KRW to remove the existing grass block pavement and carry out asphalt pavement and parking space line maintenance to create a more pleasant parking environment.
