Guri City Supports Delivery Fees for ‘Baedal Teukgeup’ Franchise Stores
Alleviating Small Business Burden Due to Delivery Fee Increase
Guri City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 1st that it will promote a delivery fee support project for franchise stores of Gyeonggi-do's public delivery app ‘Baedal Teukgeup’ to reduce the burden on small business owners caused by delivery fee increases and help stabilize their management.
The eligible applicants are small business owners in the city who have paid delivery fees through ‘Baedal Teukgeup’ from January to September 2024, and the support amount is 3,000 KRW per delivery order, up to a maximum of 300,000 KRW.
The Guri City delivery fee support project is being implemented for the first time this year, and applications can be submitted for one month starting November 1 by attaching an application form, business registration certificate, and bankbook copy according to the delivery fee support project announcement on the Guri City Hall website, via fax, email, or by visiting the Job and Economy Division of Guri City Hall.

Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri City said, “The continuous increase in private delivery app fees amid high interest rates and high inflation is actually increasing the management burden on small business owners,” adding, “We expect that this delivery fee support will help small business owners’ operations and, at the same time, by promoting the public delivery app to citizens who are suffering from rising dining prices, it will activate ‘Baedal Teukgeup,’ where small business owners and consumers coexist.”
