Ulsan Economic Promotion Agency "Asking Youth for ESG Management Ideas"
Environmental, Social, and Transparent Management Proposal Contest Held
The Ulsan Free Economic Zone Authority is hosting the 'ESG Management Idea Proposal Competition' from the 1st to the 2nd at Mauna Ocean Resort in collaboration with the Ulsan University LINC3.0 Project Group and the Ulsan University Climate Change Project Group.
This competition was organized to address the issues faced by companies residing in the Ulsan Free Economic Zone (UFEZ) from the perspective of youth.
Ten teams comprising 38 Ulsan University students will participate to propose ESG innovation plans for Raonix Co., Ltd.
Participants will carry out team projects in a hackathon format over one night and two days, and through expert evaluation, four teams will be selected: one grand prize winner, one excellence award winner, and two merit award winners.
A hackathon is a combination of hacking and marathon, referring to a method where participants form teams in a limited time and place to continuously generate and revise ideas to propose problem-solving solutions.
