Ukraine: "North Korea 4,500 Troops Arrive at Border... Expected to Join Combat by November"
It is anticipated that 4,500 North Korean soldiers deployed in Russia have arrived at the Ukrainian border this week and could be deployed in actual combat next month.
On the 30th (local time), according to AP and AFP, Serhii Olehovych Kyslytsya, Ukraine's ambassador to the UN, stated at a United Nations Security Council meeting held at the UN headquarters in New York that a total of approximately 4,500 North Korean troops arrived at the border this week and are expected to participate in combat operations against Ukrainian forces within the next month.
Ambassador Kyslytsya reported that North Korean soldiers are wearing Russian military uniforms to conceal their identities and are mixed within minority ethnic units formed within the Russian military.
