Investigation Launched into American YouTuber for Insulting the Statue of a Girl and Convenience Store Disturbance
The police have launched an investigation into an American YouTuber who kissed the Statue of Peace and caused a disturbance at a convenience store.
On the 31st, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul announced that they are investigating Johnny Somali on charges of obstruction of business.
Somali is accused of obstructing business by playing loud music and dancing at a convenience store in Mapo-gu on the 17th. When a convenience store employee tried to stop him, Somali spilled cup noodle broth and hurled insults at the employee. These scenes were broadcast live on Somali's YouTube channel.
