The Bitgoeul National Safety Experience Center in Gwangju announced on the 31st that it will set up an exhibition and experience facility using the old Gwangju Fire Department's first helicopter (BK117B-2) in the outdoor plaza on the first floor, and will exhibit and operate it starting in November.
The fire helicopter experience facility was created to spread a safety culture through safety experiences and viewing of fire helicopters, which are difficult for citizens to access.
The fire helicopter experience will be operated once every Saturday in connection with mountain safety experiences, and will include fire helicopter boarding experience, simulator piloting experience, safety OX quiz, and augmented reality (AR) photo zone.
