Malaysian Johor State Delegation Visits Paju LCD Public Wastewater Treatment Facility
The delegation from Johor, Malaysia visited Korea and toured the Paju LCD public wastewater treatment facility on the 29th.
Gyeonggi Paju City (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 31st that a delegation from Johor State, Malaysia, visited Korea and toured the Paju LCD public wastewater treatment facility on the 29th.
The Johor State delegation officially visited Korea from the 27th to the 31st to attract Korean companies and observe advanced facilities following the establishment of the Malaysia-Singapore Economic Zone. This tour was arranged at the request of the Embassy of Malaysia in Korea.
On the day, 26 members including the Governor of Johor State (ONN HAFIZ BIN GHAZI) and the Mayor of Johor Bahru attended. The delegation received a briefing on the main status of the LCD public wastewater treatment facility and then moved to the site to tour the first and second stage wastewater treatment facilities and the disinfection facility in sequence.
They showed particular interest by closely examining the small hydropower generation facility utilizing discharged water and exchanging opinions.
The Governor of Johor State said, "Thank you for arranging this opportunity for a vivid tour," and added, "I hope there will be an opportunity to invite a delegation from Paju City to Johor State to introduce Johor and share experiences."
