Yangju City to Host the '2024 Yangju Mayor's Cup National Equestrian Competition'
A Gathering Where the Passion and Skills of Equestrians Nationwide Shine
Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 30th that it will host the "2024 Yangju Mayor's Cup National Equestrian Competition" at the only public riding arena in the metropolitan area, "Yangju Equestrian Park," over two days from November 9 to 10.
The "2024 Yangju Mayor's Cup National Equestrian Competition" is an event where equestrian athletes from across the country compete in various disciplines to promote the charm of equestrian sports and revitalize equestrian culture.
This competition will involve about 500 participants, including riders and their family members, as well as around 80 horses, and is planned to be held in a way that allows athletes to demonstrate their best skills amid the beautiful natural environment of Yangju City.
The competition consists of a total of 10 events, including dressage, show jumping, western speed, and team relay. In particular, the Dressage D Class and the 100cm show jumping events will be conducted as official certified competitions.
