Dongducheon Youth Delegation Promotes Cultural Exchange with Vinh Long City, Vietnam
The Dongducheon City Youth Delegation has been visiting Vin Long City, a sister city in Vietnam, for 4 nights and 5 days starting from the 29th to engage in exchange activities.
The youth delegation from Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) will visit Vinh Long City, an international sister city in Vietnam, for a 4-night, 5-day exchange program starting on the 29th.
This visit marks the seventh since the sister city agreement was established in 2013. It is the third international youth exchange program promoted by Dongducheon City, which was designated as an Education Development Special Zone this year.
The Dongducheon youth delegation consists of students from Korea Culture Video High School, Sinheung Middle School, Sinheung High School, accompanying teachers, and Lee Soon-yi, president of the Korea Youth Development Association.
The student delegates will interact with local students at the sister schools in Vinh Long City, experiencing the educational environment and culture, while also touring historical sites and attractions in Vinh Long City.
Additionally, the Dongducheon youth plan to deliver vibrant Korean culture to local students through performances of Korean pop music dance (K-pop dance), Taekwondo demonstrations, and Samulnori (traditional Korean percussion) performances.
