Dongbanwi-Nowon-gu-Kakao Launch Digitalization of 'Gyeongchunseon Gongneung Forest Trail Commercial Area'
The Win-Win Growth Committee, Nowon-gu District Office of Seoul, Kakao Corp., Kakao Impact Foundation, and the Gyeongchun Line Gongneung Forest Path Merchants' Association signed a "Seoul Nowon-gu Gyeongchun Line Gongneung Forest Path Commercial District Win-Win Growth Culture Expansion Business Agreement" at Nowon-gu Office on the 30th.
In this agreement, the Win-Win Growth Committee, Nowon-gu, Kakao, and Kakao Impact pledged to closely cooperate to support the digital transformation of the Gyeongchun Line Gongneung Forest Path commercial district for continuous revitalization of the commercial area.
The Gyeongchun Line Gongneung Forest Path is a place reborn by gradually converting part of the old Gyeongchun Line railway, which was closed in 2010, into a park. It is characterized by the presence of seven nearby universities, resulting in a large young floating population, and unique branded stores such as cafes, workshops, and wine bars.
Kakao's "Regular Customer Street Digital Transformation Support Project" is a program that helps merchants in local commercial districts utilize Kakao services such as opening and operating KakaoTalk channels and managing stores on Kakao Map through one-on-one customized education for individual stores. It also supports various marketing activities to activate store channels, including operating event booths within the commercial district and subsidizing channel message sending costs.
The Win-Win Growth Committee plans to monitor the implementation of the agreement and conduct multifaceted satisfaction surveys and performance analyses targeting the shopping district to ensure effective support for individual stores to revitalize the Gyeongchun Line Gongneung Forest Path commercial district.
