Korea Productivity Center Appoints Former National Assembly Member Park Seong-jung as New Chairman
The Korea Productivity Center (KPC) announced on the 29th that former National Assembly member Park Seong-jung has been appointed as the new chairman. Chairman Park will begin his duties on the 30th, with a term of three years.
Chairman Park graduated from Gyeongnam High School and Sungkyunkwan University, and holds a master's degree in Public Administration from Seoul National University and a doctorate in Urban Administration from Sungkyunkwan University.

After passing the 1979 civil service exam, Park began his public service career as a Seoul city official. He served as Seoul City Public Relations Officer, Administrative Officer in the Civil Affairs Office of the Presidential Secretariat, Director of the Tokyo Office, and Director of City Planning, leading various administrative and international exchange initiatives. He was elected as the Seocho District Mayor in the 4th local government elections and served as a member of the 20th and 21st National Assembly. During his tenure as a lawmaker, he served for six years on the Science, Technology, Information and Broadcasting Communications Committee.
