Indian K-Beauty Platform 'Macaron' Records Cumulative Export Value of 12 Million USD in Q3
Export Amount in Q1-Q3 Up 132% Compared to Same Period Last Year
Blimong Kids, which operates the K-beauty platform 'Macaron' in India, announced on the 29th that it achieved a record high cumulative export amount of approximately $12 million (about 16.3 billion KRW) in the third quarter of this year.
Blimong Kids is a K-beauty retail company that helps domestic beauty brands enter the Indian market. It has established a one-stop system covering the entire process including distribution, marketing, sales, and delivery, and operates the K-beauty e-commerce platform Macaron.
Macaron provides community and experience group operation services to promote product sales. It has introduced more than 350 brands such as COSRX, Chosun Beauty, and Clio to the local market. It also supports domestic brands' online entry into India's largest beauty e-commerce platforms like Nykaa, Tira, and Amazon.
Additionally, Blimong Kids automated document review and error detection through its self-developed AI-based hygiene approval system, integrating and managing the entire process from document collection to approval completion, reducing the essential hygiene approval certification period for entering India to one-third.
Based on this, Blimong Kids obtained hygiene approvals for 28 brands and over 1,100 products during the third quarter of this year, and has officially launched a cumulative total of 54 brands and over 1,630 products in the Indian market.
