The implementation rate of Cheonan City's 8th popularly elected administration's pledged projects has reached 92%.
According to the city on the 29th, the 8th administration's pledged projects consist of 107 projects under five major municipal goals, with 29 projects completed as of the third quarter. Seventy projects are proceeding as planned, while eight projects are partially underway. The fulfillment rate of pledged projects is 60%, and the normal implementation rate is recorded at 92.5%.
By project, the expansion of the Yu Gwansun Memorial Hall, the construction of the Bandabi Sports Center for the Disabled, and the establishment of the Local Food Integrated Distribution Center have been completed. The city is also promoting the creation of the Cheonan Green Startup Town and the Cheonan-Asan KTX Station R&D Cluster.
The city expects that, with its selection by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport as a hub-type smart city and a leading investment district around the station, the pledged projects for old downtown regeneration and the Cheonan Station expansion and renovation project will gain momentum.
Cheonan Mayor Park Sangdon said, "We will set up concrete plans for the pledged projects and push forward, prioritizing citizens' happiness and quality of life."
