Gwangju Police Agency and Women & Family Foundation Sign 'Business Agreement'
On the 29th, the Gwangju Autonomous Police Committee signed a 'Gender Violence Prevention Project Business Agreement' with the Gwangju Police Agency and the Gwangju Women and Family Foundation in the committee meeting room to create a city where citizens can live safely.
The signing ceremony was attended by An Jin, Chairman of the Gwangju Autonomous Police Committee, Park Jong-sam, Head of the Women and Youth Division of the Gwangju Police Agency, and Kim Kyung-rye, CEO of the Gwangju Women and Family Foundation, who agreed to join forces in preventing gender violence and supporting victims.
This agreement was prepared as the three organizations jointly seek to discover and promote prevention projects in response to gender violence occurring within intimate relationships such as dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking, which have recently emerged as social issues.
According to the agreement, the three organizations will actively cooperate and support ▲ the development of customized education programs for gender violence prevention and provision of free visiting education ▲ discovery and support of gender violence prevention projects ▲ support for gender violence prevention publicity ▲ and other possible areas of cooperation and support.
