This workshop was designed as a time to share the outcomes of experiential programs such as special lectures by women CEOs, on-site visits to women-led companies, startup idea mentoring, and global business explorations, which had previously been conducted separately by schools, and for participating students to express their reflections.
More than 600 students from 30 schools nationwide, including Seoul Women’s University, Baehwa Girls' High School, and Seongam International Trade High School, heard voices from the industry through networking with senior women CEOs.
Lee Jeong-han, president of the Women Entrepreneurs Association, emphasized, “Women-led companies greatly contribute to creating jobs for women,” and added, “We will actively strive to have women-led companies take the lead in nurturing female students, the future generation, into women entrepreneurs.”
