The '2024 Paju City Greater Job Fair' held on the 24th at the Paju Citizens' Hall Grand Theater concluded successfully with active participation and positive response from citizens.
According to Paju City on the 28th, the event, co-hosted by Paju City and the Goyang Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, was organized by the Paju Job Center and Paju Employment Center, with collaboration from related organizations including the Youth and Adolescents Division, Paju Women's New Work Center, Middle-aged Tomorrow Center, and Gyeonggi Northern Veterans Support Center, with a total of 35 companies participating.
At this event, 871 job seekers gathered, with 771 participating in one-on-one on-site interviews, resulting in 223 first-round hires. Final employment will be confirmed after second-round interviews and other processes.
The city focused on expanding the number of companies participating in recruitment interviews this year and attracting industries and companies preferred by young job seekers to promote practical employment activation. In particular, a special lecture to assist with interviews was held prior to the main event.
