KOSPI and KOSDAQ Start Higher... Attempt to Recover 2600 Level
On the 28th, both the KOSPI and KOSDAQ started the day with gains.
As of 9:06 a.m., the KOSPI was up 12.76 points (0.49%) from the previous close, standing at 2597.76, attempting to recover the 2600 level. The index opened at 2587.98, up 0.18% for the day.
In the securities market, individuals and institutions are net buyers of 900 million KRW and 33.5 billion KRW respectively, while foreigners are net sellers of 34.4 billion KRW.
Most of the top market capitalization stocks are rising. Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are up 0.89% and 1.00% respectively, with Samsung Biologics (0.85%), Celltrion (0.97%), Kia (1.73%), POSCO Holdings (1.79%), Hyundai Motor (0.44%), LG Energy Solution (0.49%), and others showing upward trends. On the other hand, KB Financial Group (-2.67%) and Shinhan Financial Group (-2.24%) are declining.
At the same time, the KOSDAQ is up 6.34 points (0.85%) from the previous trading day, standing at 733.58.
Individuals and foreigners are net buyers of 3.1 billion KRW and 20.3 billion KRW respectively, while institutions are net sellers of 12.7 billion KRW.
