T-money App Error... Over 140 Terminals Nationwide 'Down'
Malfunctions Occur in Some Taxis as Well
An error in the T-money network has caused inconvenience for passengers nationwide, preventing them from issuing boarding passes at bus terminals.
According to the bus and terminal industry, a malfunction occurred in the T-money express and intercity bus network around 1 p.m. on the 27th, disrupting the use of the T-money application (app) and on-site ticket vending machines.
It is reported that more than 140 locations nationwide, including the Seoul Express Bus Terminal in Seocho-gu, Seoul, were affected.
Each terminal activated an emergency ticketing system and switched to on-site reservations, issuing tickets in cash. In cases where the bus departure time is imminent, passengers are allowed to board after only verifying their personal information.
