The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education International Education Center (Director Jo Young-min) announced on the 27th that it held a 'Student International Education Forum' on the 26th for high school students in the province, overseas students, and out-of-school youth.
The forum, conducted using a real-time interactive remote program (Zoom), was attended by 96 domestic and international students. It focused on exploring and discussing universal issues faced by humanity among the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals.
The main lectures included ▲The Meaning of Peace and Human Rights through Cases of International Conflicts (Producer Kim Young-mi) ▲Diaspora is the Future (Director Jeon Woo-seok) ▲Animal Rights and the Animal Protection Act (Lawyer Park Joo-yeon).
The forum was conducted mostly in English through discussions and lectures to strengthen cooperative communication skills as future global leaders.
Participating students also shared diverse opinions on the topics based on the lecture content.
