Incheon 'Dorongnyong Village Barrier-Free Sharing Path' Selected for Lottery Fund Grant... Secures 1 Billion KRW
Namdong-gu, Incheon announced on the 25th that the "Dorongnyong Village Barrier-Free Sharing Path Creation Project" was finally selected in the 2025 Lottery Fund Public Project hosted by the Korea Forest Welfare Promotion Institute, securing 1 billion KRW.
The district will invest a total budget of 3.3 billion KRW, including 1 billion KRW from the lottery fund, to actively promote the Dorongnyong Village Barrier-Free Sharing Path Creation Project in the Sansan 2-2 area of Mansu-dong.

The project period is from January to December next year, during which a 2.36 km-long walking trail and an observatory accessible to wheelchair users, the elderly, and others with mobility challenges will be installed.
Additionally, the Dorongnyong Village Barrier-Free Sharing Path will be connected to the Mansusan Barrier-Free Sharing Path created in 2021, forming a total 5 km forest-type barrier-free sharing path.

Park Jong-hyo, the district mayor, said, "Through the creation of the barrier-free sharing path, I hope that vulnerable pedestrians can use the mountain safely and comfortably without restrictions," adding, "We will continue to expand the lacking forest recreation infrastructure in the old downtown area so that universal green welfare benefits can reach all residents."
