Yangju City Distributes 'Illegal Parking Violation Enforcement Manual'
Gyeonggi Yangju City (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 24th that it will prepare and distribute a unified "Illegal Parking Enforcement Manual (hereinafter referred to as the Manual)" tailored to local conditions to its citizens.
The Manual is composed of an understanding of the concept of illegal parking, ▲ procedures and directions for enforcement work ▲ the attitude of public officials during enforcement ▲ criteria for imposing fines for parking violations ▲ guidelines for statements and handling complaints ▲ designation and cancellation of no-parking zones ▲ practical cases of parking enforcement, among others.
The city expects that this Manual will serve as a guide not only for citizens who have experienced confusion due to parking-related issues but also for employees affiliated with the city hall.
A city official stated, "By preparing the parking enforcement Manual, we have been able to promote unified parking enforcement administration," and added, "We will continue to do our best to create a safe walking environment in Yangju City."
