Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Holds 'Secondary Art Teacher Exhibition'
Exhibition of 89 Staff Artworks and 24 Student Activity Materials
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 24th that it held the "30th Jeollanam-do Secondary School Art Teachers Exhibition" at the Mokpo Culture and Arts Center from the 18th to the 23rd.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the "Secondary School Art Teachers Exhibition" was organized to share the experiences and artistic spirit of secondary school faculty members. On the same day, the event also featured the "Student Art Club Activity Sharing Exhibition," showcasing works by middle and high school students.
This event exhibited 89 creative fine art and design works by secondary school art teachers and education professionals, along with activity materials from 24 visual arts student clubs.

In particular, the lively Korean painting works by artist Jeong Yuntae (Head of the Art Department at Jeonnam Arts High School) attracted the attention of attendees. Artist Jeong has served as the president of the Mokpo Seonmukhoe, director of the Ink and Wash Form Research Center, a Korea-China calligraphy and painting artist, and a member of the Korea Fine Arts Association. He has also consistently engaged in art volunteer activities for the local community, including creative art projects and student mural painting.
Artist Jeong expressed his thoughts, saying, "This exhibition became a meaningful occasion to share artistic achievements with students and to encounter a creative artistic world."
Kim Daejung, Superintendent of the Provincial Office of Education, emphasized, "The future society demands creative and convergent talents who are not biased toward any one field, and the most effective way to cultivate such abilities is through art education. This is why the Jeonnam Office of Education is committed to diverse and substantial school art education."
