For 23 Industrial Facility Sites
The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced that the ‘Incheon Gyeyang Industrial Complex,’ jointly promoted with Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, will enter the full-scale leasing process starting with the leasing announcement on the 23rd.
The Gyeyang Industrial Complex is an industrial complex developed through a public development method on a 243,000㎡ site located at 255-2, Byeongbang-dong, Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, adjacent to the Gyeyang IC of the Metropolitan Area 1st Ring Expressway. It will supply 130,000㎡ of industrial facility land and 10,000㎡ of support facility land, with site development scheduled for completion in December 2026.
The first leasing target is 23 lots of industrial facility land totaling 99,964㎡. Companies in seven industries, including metal fabricated product manufacturing, other machinery and equipment manufacturing, and electronic components, computers, video, audio, and communication equipment manufacturing, are eligible to move in.
The Gyeyang Industrial Complex aims to realize a ‘future-oriented industrial complex’ by incorporating digital and eco-friendly elements from the development stage. A representative example is the mandatory installation of rooftop solar panels in the industrial complex plan, laying the foundation for low-carbon industrial complexes. Companies moving into the Gyeyang Industrial Complex must install solar panels on factory roofs according to the district unit plan. This is expected to play an important role in expanding renewable energy and reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

Additionally, a ‘5G specialized network’ will be implemented within the industrial complex. The ‘5G specialized network’ is a customized network that can implement services desired by demand companies in specific spaces through dedicated frequencies, serving as a core element of the industrial complex’s digital transformation (DX). The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation plans to establish detailed plans related to this based on corporate demand after leasing contracts are signed.
