Operation of Forest Prenatal Education Classes for Prospective Parents in the District
The Public Health Center of Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 22nd that it will operate a "Forest Prenatal Education Class" that provides psychological stability to expectant parents through the use of the five senses in the forest and encourages emotional interaction with the fetus.
This Forest Prenatal Education Class will be held at the Dongducheon City Natural Recreation Forest on November 6, and the application period is from the 28th to the 30th of this month. It is open on a first-come, first-served basis to expectant parents registered at the Dongducheon City Public Health Center who are between 12 weeks pregnant and before childbirth.
The Forest Prenatal Education Class is a forest healing program that allows participants to escape daily life and experience mental relaxation by utilizing various elements such as forest sounds, forest scents, and phytoncides under the guidance of a forest interpreter. The program consists of ▲ forest gymnastics ▲ five-sense healing on forest trails ▲ healing foot baths ▲ tea time and sharing impressions.
